Poet Elizabeth Carothers Herron, working
with five fellow artists, offers Coyote Starts Talking, a
dramatic presentation from her book length poem, The Poets
House. Written to accompany Johnsons Poetry House (now located
at Paradise Ridge Winerys wonderful Sculpture Grove in Santa
Rosa) this artistic collaboration expands and extends the
resonance of the poem, beginning with the voice of Coyote.
Fellow performers include Fran Carbonaro, Connie Coleman, Pablo
Rodriguez, Corlene Van Sluizer, and shakuhachi player Philip
Gelb.
"Coyote Starts Talking: Fall Selections from
the Poets House" will begin at 7:30pm in the Gallery. All are
welcome, however seating is limited, and available on a first
come, first serve basis. Voluntary contributions for the
performers will also be accepted.
