Bakers Dozen 2010
Quicksilver Presents the Work
of 13 Bay Area Artists
January 22�February 28
Beginning on January on 22nd, The Quicksilver Mine Co. will present Bakers Dozen 2010, the Gallery's annual group exhibition featuring the work of 13 northern California artists. This show opens with an artist reception on Saturday January 23rd from 4�6pm, and will continue through February 28th.
This year's Bakers Dozen features work by 13 mixed media collage artists, including encaustic wax/collages by Susan Stover; a free-form, freestanding room screen by Lois Stopple; and Armando Ramos' "superhero" paper collage and wood wall and pedestal sculptures.

Also in the show are delicate cut and torn paper works by Sherry Parker, Harley, Micah Schwaberow and Deborah Salomon; Chiyomi Taneike Longo's large abstract Sumi ink on newsprint paintings; mixed media collages on canvas by Louise Forbush and Cecily Axt; and narrative compositions using antique books and found material by Petaluma artist Cynthia Granados. New large works by Jenny Honnert Abell and Sonoma Collage Collective co-founder Kirk Hinshaw round out the Show.
