THE INDEPENDENT ORDER OF ODD FLOWERS

Jenny Honnert Abell Exhibits at Quicksilver

October 14—November 27, 2005

The Quicksilver Mine Co. presents The Independent Order of Odd Flowers, a one woman show by mixed media collage artist Jenny Honnert Abell beginning on October 14th. This exhibition continues through November 27th.

Working with traditional and non-traditional materials, Abell has created sensuous collages abstractly representing botanical forms. Intimately dissected and meticulously rearranged, she works with central flower forms, exposing her very own eclectic and diverse combination of materials. Her pieces are beautiful and intelligent, weaving reality with nonsense in a refreshing and visually unified way.
