"I try,
in my paintings, to reflect my appreciation for the world through which I
pass. Having lived in Sonoma county for a dozen years, the climate and
landscape still amaze me. I find that the geometry of buildings and man-made
structures create a fascinating counter-point to nature.
I don't worry about schools of painting, or influences, or what style I'm
using, I am content to paint to the piece. Mostly, though, I just paint because
it's so much fun! I guess that explains the abstracts." |
