After nearly 30 years, Quicksilver’s owner Khysie Horn has decided to wind down her gallery business at the end of 2012. This decision—both exciting and bittersweet—will open the door to new opportunities, to new projects, and to a bit more free time.

To the visual artists, poets, writers, musicians, and performers we have worked with since1983 go the deepest thanks and appreciation. Our world is richer and very blessed because of you. And to our patrons, our customers and our friends in the communities we share, thank you for your enduring support. We will miss working with all of you very much.

We will continue hosting exhibitions and events in the gallery through the end of 2012. Gallery news, and a complete 2012 event schedule will be available on our old website: Quicksilver Mine Co.
